Remembering the Master of Study of Universe Stephen Hawkins

The Stephen Hawkins, a man known for his dedicated works in the study of Universe. For me, he is a motivational speaker who inspired people to fight against the odds of life. When the doctors found the degenerative motor disease, it was just two to three years maximum life expectancy for him (according to doctors). But the destiny had other plans for the great scientist of this century. He survived and emerged as a warrior in his life. He dedicated his whole life to the study of functioning and laws of Universe.

Here are the collections of some of his inspiring thoughts which can inspire you all:

1) We are Special:
“We are just an advanced breed of monkeys on a minor planet of a very average star. But we can understand the Universe. That makes us something very special.”

2) Importance of gaining correct Knowledge:
“The greatest enemy of knowledge is not ignorance; it is the illusion of knowledge.”

3) Be curious to learn new things:
“It surprises me how disinterested we are today about things like physics, space, the universe and philosophy of our existence, our purpose, our final destination. It’s a crazy world out there. Be curious.”

4) Views about Religion and Science:
“There is a fundamental difference between religion, which is based on authority, and science, which is based on observation and reason. Science will win because it works.”

5) Make the world constructive:
“I think computer viruses should count as life ... I think it says something about human nature that the only form of life we have created so far is purely destructive. We have created life in our own image.”

6) Find Logic and Satisfaction in life:
“I have noticed that even those who assert that everything is predestined and that we can change nothing about it still look both ways before they cross the street.”

7) Don’t be afraid to die, choose your decision wisely:
“I am not afraid of death, but I am in no hurry to die.”

8) There are no Shortcuts in life, Follow the safest route:
“If time travel is possible, where are the tourists from the future?”

9) Think about Future:
“I don't think the human race will survive the next thousand years unless we spread into space.”

10)      Have faith in God:
“You cannot understand the glories of the universe without believing there is some Supreme Power behind it.”

11)      Prepared for the future:
“If aliens ever visit us, I think the outcome would be much as when Christopher Columbus first landed in America, which didn’t turn out very well for the Native Americans.”

12)      You are more than what you think:
“We only have to look at ourselves to see how intelligent life might develop into something we wouldn’t want to meet”

13)      It is good to have hobbies:
“I like physics, but I love cartoons.”

The man taught us the correct way of living to the people around the world. The man can die but his knowledge remains.
